OFFICIAL MIUI 9 update




You all know that all xiaomi devices runs on MIUI. The current version of xiaomi handsets is MIUI 8. All xiaomi users are now excitedly waiting for the latest update of MIUI. Cause xiaomi brings exciting features on every update. The next update is going to be MIUI 9. It is based on Android Nougat which is Android 7.






Xiaomi has confirmed that it will publish on July 26th. On that that day xiaomi will also launch a new handset which is mi5x. The mi5x will launch running on miui 9. The event of launch these products will start at 14:00 (GMT +8) at China National Convention Center. This update is coming after 442 days so we can expect that something exiting is coming for xiaomi users. Mi4 a flagship phone of xiaomi which was launched in 2014 was launched with miui 6 based on Android 4.4 kitkat. Current miui 8 was launched with some cool features like dual apps, scrolling screenshots, second space and much more.  Some expected features of miui 9 are multi window function, new launcher, better ram management, dual  space, dual apps, better battery backup, improved data saver, always vpn on, call screeing and much more cool features. The update will change the look of the phones.

Expected  phone which will get update: Redmi Note 3, Redmi Note 4, Redmi 3/3s/Prime, Mi5/Mi5c, Mi Note 2, Mi Mix, Mi Max, Redmi 4/4A, Mi4c, Mi4i, Mi Pad 2, Mi Pad 3, Mi5S Plus, Redmi 4X, Mi Note,Redmi Note 4X, Mi Max 2, Mi 6 and more.

User will get official update through OTA. Although update can be istalled manually by flashing smartphones. Recovery ROM can be installed by booting devices into recovery mode and to install Fastboot ROM the Mi Flash Tool is required .



We should wait till July 26th to see what is happening actually.
